Welcome to my site to help all parents and students keep up to date with the year ahead.
I will begin by introducing myself to you all. I am 24 years of age. I am from Belfast in the north of Ireland. I studied in England and graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Exercise Physiology. I decided to further my education by coming to America on a soccer scholarship to study for my Masters in Teaching.
Sport and Health is a major passion of mine. I grew up playing soccer and I have been privileged to have a successful career which has seen me represent my country and play all over Europe. Sport is a great way to introduce a healthy lifestyle to our kids. It is my mission to illustrate how exercise can play a significant role in improving the physical and mental health in our society. I am also eager to show how our day to day choices can affect our body, whether that be our diet or habits that we choose to feed, such as smoking, alcohol and even drugs.
Our kids are our future and I hope that I can educate them and prepare them to make the right choices to create a healthy lifestyle.
